Notice to all former Headstart Graduates -Updated Language Policy 2024

Headstart Montessori Teacher Training College offers three national teaching diplomas specialising in Montessori education:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Pre-Primary Teaching (Level 5) (Montessori Specialisation).
• Montessori Early Childhood Development and Pre-Primary Teaching Diploma (Level 6).
• Diploma in Primary teaching (Level 6) (Montessori Specialisation).

Language arts, specifically how to teach languages, is a crucial component of our courses. However, up until 2022, the graduates did not have a second language indicated on their transcripts.

Moving forward, we have planned to include this feature on the transcripts and from 2023 the Level 6 transcripts reflect this. This adjustment is in response to a requirement from the HR Department of the Ministry of Education.
